You own your personal data, and you are always in control. This notice describes how we process your personal data. You will learn about the data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and the measures we take to keep it safe.
Elevated Discovery AB (Org.nr: 556978-9422, "we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal data processed in connection with the HP Coachen app. We will process your personal data only in accordance with applicable legislation, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

General information about the HP Coachen app
When using the HP Coachen app, you will provide certain personal data to create an account and track your progress (such as your email address, age, and study goals). The app will also automatically collect some technical data necessary for its operation. Based on your answers and progress in the app, we will derive an estimated score for Högskoleprovet to help you track your performance.
We do not collect sensitive personal data about your health. The app does not access your device's microphone, camera, motion sensors, or precise location (GPS).
Please note that this notice does not apply to third-party services like Apple or Google's authentication services, or their respective app stores. We are not responsible or liable for the data practices of companies we do not own or control.
How we use your data
To provide you with our service and manage our relationship with you, we need to process your personal data. The table below details why we process your data, what data we process, our legal basis for doing so, and how long we store it.

How we share your personal data and who we share it with
We use a number of trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) to operate our app. We only share the minimum amount of data necessary. Our main service providers include:
Supabase: Provides our database and backend infrastructure. Your app data is stored on their servers located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Mixpanel: Provides product analytics services to help us understand app usage and improve our service.
Loops.so: Manages our email communications and marketing campaigns.
RevenueCat: Manages subscription data from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
While your data is stored within the European Union (Sweden), some of our service providers (Supabase, Mixpanel, Loops.so, RevenueCat) are based in the United States. This means that your personal data may be processed by personnel in a country outside the EU/EEA. To ensure your data is protected to the same standard as it is within the EU, we have entered into Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with these providers, which are approved by the European Commission as a legal mechanism for such data transfers.
Your rights
You have several rights under GDPR regarding your personal data. You can exercise these rights by adjusting settings within the HP Coachen app or by contacting us at hello@elevateddiscovery.com
Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification: If the data we hold about you is incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected.
Right to Erasure ('Right to be Forgotten'): You have the right to have your data deleted. You can do this directly within the app's settings or by emailing us. Please note that it may take up to 30 days to fully remove your data from all our systems, including backups.
Right to Object to Processing: You have the right to object to our processing of your data when it is based on legitimate interest, such as for direct marketing. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time via the link in the email or in the app's settings.
Right to Restriction of Processing: You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your data under certain circumstances (e.g., while we verify the accuracy of your data).
Right to Data Portability: This right allows you to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format. HP Coachen does not currently offer an automated data export feature.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden, the supervisory authority is the Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
Our policies for children
We appreciate the importance of protecting children’s privacy. The HP Coachen app is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child under this age has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hello@elevateddiscovery.com, and we will take steps to delete that information.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will inform you of any material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and by notifying you via the email address associated with your account.
